Who we are
Deaf Football Travel, Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 85745014, is responsible for processing your personal data. You can reach us at info@deaffootballtravel.nl or +31 6 20 50 54 02.
Which data we process, why and on what legal basis
We only process data that is necessary for our purpose.
- Contact form and email: your name, email address, subject and message. We use these to answer your question. Basis: our legitimate interest in answering questions, and your request to prepare an agreement.
- Booking and trip: name, address, date of birth, contact details, details from your passport or identity card, and the details of an emergency contact. We use these to book transport, accommodation and tickets and to carry out the trip. Basis: performance of the agreement.
- Interpreter and accessibility: communication wishes, such as that you need an interpreter. This may say something about your health. We only process this to arrange your trip properly. Basis: your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Payments and administration: invoice and payment details. Basis: performance of the agreement and our legal retention obligation.
- Photos and videos during trips: we take images for reports on our website and social media. Basis: our legitimate interest in showing our trips. You can always object to this, also afterwards. We then remove the images.
Our website
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your language choice is remembered in your browser storage so you arrive in the same language next time. This is a functional setting and contains no personal data. We measure use of the site only in a way that places no cookies and does not follow or recognise visitors.
Who we share data with
We only share data when necessary. These are our service providers, such as Cloudflare (hosting of the website), Web3Forms (processing of the contact form) and our email provider. We also share data with parties who carry out your trip, such as airlines, hotels, carriers, interpreters, guides and ticket sellers. We make agreements with our service providers about protecting your data. We do not sell your data.
Data outside the European Economic Area
Some service providers may process data outside the EEA, for example in the United States. We then make sure there are appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or a recognised adequacy decision.
How long we keep data
We do not keep data longer than necessary.
- Messages via the contact form or email: at most twelve months after handling.
- Data on bookings, invoices and payments: seven years, because the law requires this for our records.
- Data from your passport or identity card: until three months after the trip at the latest, unless the law requires keeping it longer.
- Consent for data about health or interpreter needs: until you withdraw your consent, and no longer than needed for the trip.
- Photos and videos: as long as we use them, or until you object.
Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS) and access to data is limited to those who need it.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, for correction or deletion, for restriction of processing and for transfer of your data. You can also object to processing or withdraw your consent. Email info@deaffootballtravel.nl for this. We may ask you to identify yourself and we respond within four weeks.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or with the supervisory authority in your own country.
Changes
We may update this statement. The most recent version is always on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
